GROUP OF COMPANIES «IT SYSTEMS» COMES TO DEVELOPMENT OF THE FIRST RUSSIAN PRINTER

Since 2006, the «IT Systems» Group of companies has been actively working in the Russian market in the IT outsourcing, software development and service support sectors of hundreds of Russian companies. The company is a member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and is one of the top 30 largest outsourcing operators Russia in terms of turnover. The company has more than 100 highly qualified specialists. There are dozens of completed projects in the portfolio, including the ones unique in scale and complexity.

Since 2013, the Group has opened consulting areas, the government has been chosen as the target market segment, and the key area is expert-analytical work to support national independence in the field of information technology. The FSB gave the license to carry out works related to the use of information constituting state secrets. Among the current clients are the Moscow Department of Information Technologies, the Federal Tax Service of Russia, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, JSC «VPK», SC «Rosatom», JSC «Gazprom», FKP «Aleksinsky Chemical Factory».

Since 2014 the company is actively developing the direction of «Service and outsourcing services». The key driver of development in this segment is the chosen strategy of providing full-cycle printing outsourcing services. Currently, the Group manages a printing infrastructure with a total cost of about 150 million rubles (about 10,000 printing devices and print management information systems).

The idea of creating multifunctional devices has existed for a long time. The first steps were taken in early 2015 – an OEM agreement was negotiated with one of the vendors manufacturing office print devices based on laser technology. However, the first signals of the market became evident about the introduction of jet devices by the world’s leading manufacturers in the commercial sector. Having studied the dynamics of technologies, the specialists of the «IT Systems» Group of companies came to the conclusion: there is a quiet change of the printing platform all over the world, since the prospects of inkjet technology are much higher. It was decided in principle – there must be a Russian printer!

By the end of the spring 2016, a team and project office were formed, the development of business documentation (business plan, feasibility study of enterprises for the production of devices and ink) was completed. The project started! The key idea of the initiative is to make a completely Russian device. The expected level of device localization is at least 80%.
